Ecommerce brands and social teams that need short ads without a camera crew.
Don't upload unreleased products or client footage, or copy a competitor's ad.
Three moves for this week.
Kling's Terms (sections 3.6 and 4.7) treat what you upload as non-proprietary and non-confidential, let Kling use it to train its models, and let it use your uploads and outputs for promotion and product research. You can revoke that by emailing [email protected]. Data is stored on servers in Singapore. Keep unreleased products, client footage and customer faces out, and don't publish to the community unless you're fine with others remixing it.
The Terms (section 3.2) say output may not accurately reflect real people, places or facts, and reviewing it is on you. Check every frame for warped logos, wrong product details and garbled text. Kling 4.0 can rebuild a reference video's pacing and shots around your products, so use your own ads as references, not a competitor's.
Under the Paid Service Terms (October 10, 2026), fees are non-refundable once a plan is active, monthly plan credits expire one month after they arrive, and bought credits last two years but can't move between your personal and team spaces. Auto-renewal and credit auto-recharge charge your card without asking again, so set a recharge limit or leave auto-recharge off. Free accounts can't use output commercially.
Watch out: uploading unreleased products or client footage before you've read the training clause.
Power and Risk scores are editorial judgment for marketers and small-business operators, not laboratory tests or legal advice. Power = leverage (dangerous in a good way). Risk = what can go wrong (privacy, wrong answers, lock-in, cost surprises). Tools change; re-check pricing, privacy policies, and data controls before you adopt anything.
